Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale mobilizes Americans to help end childhood hunger by holding bake sales in communities all across the country. Proceeds from the Great American Bake Sale are granted to organizations in those communities to help provide at-risk children with nutritious meals when they’re most needed – during summer and after school.

Since 2003, more than 1 million people have participated in Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale, raising nearly $4 million and reaching children in 39 states and the District of Columbia. The funds from the Great American Bake Sale have helped serve more that 5.3 million meals to low-income children.
